Hi, I have a xb9sx 2006 33 000km and my problem go like this.. (sorry for my bad english/french guy )

I change both tires 2months ago (early june) and I broke the oem drive belt after 500-600km tires instalation.
I started to see the belt fraying slowly at 300km so i call my mecanic for replacement, just think this was normal
after 33 000km. The same thing hapened with the new belt, after 400-500km it was rubbing somewhere and it was good for garbage.
I call my mecanic again and he said that people who change my rear tire where probably newbees (right.. young week-end workers)
and cause bearings failure maybe more.. He changed rear wheel bearings (they where not griped or something but we can feel
a loose by shaking them) ..he change the aluminium sleeve it the center of the rear wheel ( it was crush because of unproper tightning spec )
After this.. I went home 40km away with my bike and the belt started to frayed again.....

Can you help me... Is there some swingarm ajustement with rear axle wheel or something........

Thanks

Can you see where the belt is rubbing? You might want to pull the belt guards and check that you don't have any oil lines or other components rubbing against the belt. If you swing arm pivot bolt is loose or faulty(extremely rare but could happen after a crash) then your belt will rub on the oil line clamp and neutral sensor behind the front pulley cover. DEFINITELY NOT GOOD.
Has the bike ever been wrecked?
Have a look around the bike and let us know what you discover.

let's assume here for diagnostic purposes that your swingarm bushings are in good shape and pivot bolt is tight.
let's assume you are running a stock OEM sized rear tire.
let's assume your belt guards are installed correctly and tight with no signs of cracking or looseness.
you did not describe where your belt is fraying. is it the sides....the top that engages the tensioner pulley....or the toothed section? if the tooth sectioned you have a front and/or rear bad pulley
if the sides your belt is rubbing against something that is causing the fraying.
if the top section then your tensioner pulley needs attention. either its mating surface is worn past specs or the 2 pulley bearings are bad. it cannot be anything else i am aware of. check all of the above.

1) swingarm bushings are in good shape and pivot bolt is tight. ANSWER : Yes
2) stock OEM sized rear tire. ANSWER : 190/50r17, I runned the same size before installation for more than 5000k
3) belt guards are installed correctly and tight with no signs of cracking or looseness. ANSWER : Yes

The belt is frayind on both sides, In the outside : at the rear corner of sproket plastique guard. In the inside : at the crank pulley, on the block

It is rubbing in the outside : at the rear corner of sproket plastique guard. In the inside : at the crank pulley, on the block

The front drive pulley.
The bender pulley? That the tensioner pulley that rides on the bottom of the belt that you're talking about? If that thing has any issues, you really should fix it. Those bearings are replaceable.

with the difference in language/nomenclature , if someone can post the belt part diagram in a jpeg format to get the parts identified I think it would help with the diagnostics. I only have the 1125 manuals, but do this on a regular basis to help others diagnose/identify parts. Just sayin'.....

I'll give this a shot.
Sounds like you have an issue at item 19 and possible item 9.
Check the attached pic. Hope it helps
