XMp3 Player mounting

Picking up a 2008 Ulysses tomorrow. I would really like the ability to use my XMp3 player on it. Anyone mounted one of these? If so, how?

Any ideas on making it water proof??

not a mp3 but did put a XM radio. Used a Ram Mount . Used the one that has the bolt that replaces the riser bolt.Ball mount to 1 1/2" bar to the X-M mount. Power wired in behind flyscreen.Use ear buds.works good.As for rain,slide a sandwich baggie over.
