Xopti ECM tune

Did any of you send your ecm to Xopti or did you purchase the download remap? I just put a Drummer on my bike and opened the air-box. So I tried to upload a xb12 remap that I downloaded from his site to my eprom and my bike wouldn't even start. I need some help.

Did you do a TPS reset after burning the new EPROM?

Yeah but that wasn't the problem. I contacted Xopti and was told that it is not possible to upload a race ecm map on a stock ecm. That was something I did not know. I'm going to get a remap from them that will work for my bike, I hope.

I had the same question to him a while back. You can put it in, but you cannot simply burn it onto your stock ecm. You have to one by one input all the figures into the cells.

I burned a race ecm fuel map to a stock ecm by doing this:

1. Open the race eeprom in ecmspy
2. Extract the fuel map from it and save it on your computer.
3. Hook up your bike with stock ecm to ecmspy.
4. Load the previously extracted race fuel map.
5. Burn race map into your stock ecm.

Much easier than manually entering in as mentioned earlier.

I did exactly the same thing so ended up with a race chip and a race/stock hybrid. Then had Mike send me the new map. Works well and better than the race chip. Still in the process of fine tuning with him but love whats happening at the moment.

Yea those guys have helped me alot. Mike GBalias, Moosetang and a few others. My bike runs like a dream and will lift the front wheel in second on a hard roll on and im riding a Ss. Soon I will be putting on my LC-1 wideband O2 soon and really get it nailed down. Oh and my fan never runs anymore until I shut the bike off.

Noticed the other day that my fan is the same... got me woried at first as i thought it had broke but came on when i shut down and not for long either.
