yeah i gotcha. I just wasnt sure if you were smart enough to realize that you can't give the tail a more agressive lift without adding to the gap between the subframe and the main frame, but i see that you meant you didnt think it needed a full 1/4in, and that you are one of the smart ones :D I think 1/4in is going to be perfect for the 1 to 2 more inches you are looking for. Do you have an s, scg, or ss?

I lil more aggressive wouldn't be bad at all. the seat hight really doesn't change for rider all that much. Plus it keeps you held forward on the seat better

Has anyone ever gotten a newsletter from them or anything saying when diesel thinks round two will come out?

Hopefully they are actually really trying to produce these, and at or around the same price.

I don't see how other places charge ao much, great looking mod but not for 100+ dollars.

Still no word on this huh? I mean, it's interesting because we know they could sell however many in no time flat.. It's like one of the perfect beginner mods and gives a look that most if not many of us really like.. frustrating. i want a cheap/easy trick.

I was really hoping that Diesel would jump
on this mod, looks like it might have died out?

All the work they had into them and just a few tweaks would have fixed them...... Not sure why they didn't pursue this further?

someone asked about it on their facebook page.

"The big question, what's the word on the subframe spacer for the XB? Thanks"

answer posted june 15th
"Diesel Moto
Ah yes, THAT question. The new prototype is currently undergoing another round of testing with a few select individuals. If everything comes back positive it could be as little as one month. Details will be posted here as soon as we have them. "

They shipped out the second prototype to the three people who had written them the most complete reviews. I received one of the sets and will be installing it tomorrow.

Wonder if I will get one, I know my write up was a bit on the lengthy side, but I ordered two so they might not want to ship me just one or two???

Alright, so it's been a month now since the new proto's were sent out...anyone have any news on whether Diesel is gonna produce these things and what the eta is before they're available?

And for the guys that got the new prototypes, do they have fitment issues or an excessively rough casting finish like the first batch did?

Hmmm, I have yet to here a thing........[down]

Makes me wonder WTF they are doing at Diesel[sad]

Well I shot them an email yesterday and got this response.

"We are expecting a shipment from the foundry this week. From there, they just need to be drilled, tapped, and powder coated. The first two steps can be done this weekend, it all depends on how fast we can get them back from the painter."

So it looks like they are actually making some headway.
