The second round of prototypes did still have some fitment issues that resulted in some remaining gaps. The guy at Diesel thinks that the problem is too much tolerance issues having two fixed fasteners (2 bolts into 2 tapped holes), and no floating fasteners (bolt and nut through two holes). So the next iteration may not be as clean as original design concept, and may include two exposed bolts, which is okay with me as long as the fitment is spot on. But overall the second prototype is VASTLY improved over what was delivered the first time, which required a ton of modification to get to fit at all. But I'm guessing that if they improved the production spacers over the second prototype by as much as they improved the second over the first prototype, it should be pretty darn close to perfect.
