FYI - Randy of hawk performance mufflers has been extremely generous when he ships a muffler. He only asks you to pay once you've received the pipe.

After a few years of this working he has recently been stiffed a few times.

I suppose it was bound to happen. [sad]
 
That's bullship, but honestly I am not surprised to hear this. People just don't seem to care these days.
 
that was bound to happen sooner or later.on the bright side he can wright those off at the end of the year.
 
Names/screen names? Im not shy when it comes to calling an asshole out.

But to be honest he needs to protect himself and that means he needs to receive money through paypal before the work. there are other ways of showing great customer service like a 100% satisfaction guarantee or return for refund.

Its too bad things happen like they do, a hand shake in the past went a long way, now a full payment up front is the only way. Either way randy will be getting some of my money in the very near future
 
I called him on the weekend and got his machine. I didn't leave a message figuring I would call back during the week. Guess what? He called me back anyways. My pipe will be on it's way as soon as I can get it pulled off the bike. Wayne
 
Some people are just scum. Here's a guy that's super nice and offers a great product for super cheap and the scums F him over! When i talked to him I said i'd pay up front and he was adamant that I pay when i received it . I hate to see good people get screwed over ![mad]
 
That is bull$hit!! I hate deadbeats, pay up! I second that we call people out. I would rather have addresses, sometimes "karma" needs a little help if u know what I mean.[mad]
 
Randy's a rare individual in that he cares about his work enough to make sure you're happy with it before you pay for it. No one else I know works like that, and it's kinda sad the way the worlds turning out.

Any chance on banning those guys from the forum?
 
That's some crap!! Randy, your a stand up guy and to think people would do that to you is complete bullshit. Kick ass product and the best customer(fellow bueller) support shouldn't have to mess with this sort of thing
