So I just finished doing a few mods to my buddies 09 XB12R and after doing the Breather Re-Route the Check Engine light comes on as soon as it is started and has a rough idle, then shuts off. What did I do? This is my 3rd Re-Route on as many bikes and have never had this happen. Need help now because I am stuck at work with this bike as my ride home, and I am 90 miles from home. Took air box back off and can't see any loose wires or anything. Help please...

Yeah it is plugged in. Went back through the whole process and made sure everything was plugged up. And TPS reset and no luck...

Thanks for the help jakestolar. We tried buddy. Thanks for walking me through TPS reset and how to pull codes. Still nothing though guys. What am I missing?

No problem man. Always glad to help a fellow biker, esp a bueller! Sorry I wasn't able to get you on the road.

Were you in the fuse box by any chance? I can't help with that code, I have an '03.

I was not in the fuse box at all. I didnt count the first flashes, only the long slow ones. Muli flashes, 2 slow ones, multi flashes, 6 slow ones and repeat. That would be 26 right? It sounds as if I am runnung on one cylender or starving for fuel. It will stay runnung if I give it throttle just not smooth running and Check Engine light is on.

Bump... Anything else you can think of guys. I'm stranded at work 90 miles from my house.

A fouled plug wouldnt throw an engine code.

Im telling you bro, its easily reversable, put it back to normal and see if your still throwing a code.
