Hey everyone! Did you know golf is such an great sport!? When I plays golf I like to wear my Jordan Basketball shoes!? I also wear Jordan Golf Club shoes when I golf in the Sun. I can keep going with this, but I think you get the picture.

I wear Jordan golf sandals when I ride my Buell. Even got the new Golf club bars with tee sliders! haha!

I was on another buell forum and to register a mod had to approve your account before you could post. They said it was to prevent spam.

Admin user acceptance is one way to deal with it. But it requires and admin that takes an active role in the site. Not doggin Buellxb here, I know he does alot to keep the ball rolling here, but how often to you see him post/contribute?


There are other steps that can be put into place to prevent spammers that dont require and admin to approve all users before posting, but it would take a slight site overhaul, and forgive my pesimism, but I dont see that happening anytime soon.


What I would suggest is for Buellxb to promote one of our ACTIVE site moderators to an administrator position( this CAN be done, there doesnt have to only be ONE admin) It would take some of responsibilty role off his shoulders and help improve forum foundation and leadership. I feel for the poor soul that is deligated this title.

Short of that we need a decent web designer to add some features to the site. Not some hippie with Adobe Pagemill, but someone who knows h/xtml. I 'could' but Momma always said "If you can do something well, dont do it for free" And honestly I dont have the time for it these days. 6mo Baby, 3 year old toddler, working wife, and I work in Sacramento 8-11 days straight twice a month.

When I first joined this forum I was also a member of 3 or 4 others. Sense then I have stopped all other forums but this one. This really is a good group of people. I'm not sure how many members we have but I'm sure it's a lot. Here and abroad. I was suprised to see how much spam gets on here though. Also, I think the search engine could be improved a little, along with thread updates via email etc. Could the whole forum platform not be changed in order to iron out these kinks?

just do what I do and get on many golf and sports shoe forums and write really long passages about how great my Buell is. My Buell easily carries most brands of golf clubs and i like to wear my new shoes while I ride to the driving range on Tuesdays.

I heard golf is great for your health..............it really is annoying though.
