Some harley guys/girls suck!

Comming home from a local bike night me and my wife stopped to gas up the buell. Went in to pay and the person behind me says " hey when your ready for a real bike come see me." As I turn around and say a real bike this person states I work at harley dealer that will remain un named. I told them if I ever want a couch to ride on she will be the first to know. "a couch. Our new bikes are super fast the new 103 ci will crush that buell. Yea okay sure it will.

I cant belive the nerve of some people.

They dont call em Couch Rockets for nothing. Be careful with all the tassels and chrome they can get up ther pretty quick.

I agree, but then there's some that are totally the opposite. My dad cruises on a Street Glide but loves to hop on my XB12R and lay it into some corners!

I agree. I ride with lots of harley guys. This was not a bike night I normaly go to and was just dumb founded by this persons comment. Also the person who made the comment worked at the store that puts on the bike night. Last time im going there [down]

I have a Harley Dyna and my Buell. Some people are just ignorant and dumb. Even with the 103 that motor is probably only putting out 80-90 hp max. And most bikes w that motor weigh 700+ lbs.

So do the math. 400 lb sport bike with 103hp or 700-1000 lb cruiser bike with less than 100hp....

My father in law thinks his 03 softail will beat my Buell bc his bike has a "bigger" motor. He has the 88 twin cam that is probably pushing about 60hp or so.

I feel your pain. It gets annoying. A "real" bike? I'd say the bike or car that weighs the least and has the most power is pretty real!!!

Some HD peeps are just annoying, ignorant, and dumb. Others are cool as hell. Sux when you encounter an idiot.

I love my harley and I love my Buell. Why can't everyone just appreciate a common interest in motorcycle riding instead of criticizing? I try to appreciate every bike or car for what it is. Nothing against Jap bikes, I have owned 4 in my life and they were awesome. I have also owned 2 Buells and my HD and those are even more awesome!

Criticizing a Buell is like criticizing an American Muscle or pony car. Usable power, high torque, and a nice rumble tone. Isn't that the heart of American Performace?!

That's why I have my softail (that a neighborhood kid backed over) still sitting unrepaired in my garage. While its a great bike, it doesn't put the smile on my face the Buell does.

I miss the good ol' days when having a set of Harley wings on the back of your truck was as good as having an alarm system. Now it seems that it's just another way to say, "Hey, I'm in debt $25000 for something I ride 25 miles on Saturdays providing the sun is shining".

That being said I'll ride with anybody. I don't care what kind of bike you have. There's enough politics in everyday life. If you on two wheels then your cool with me.

Thats like I was at a gas station and a harley pulled up next to me and yelled get that jap bike away from my hog. I just pointed to the motor and said soo dont recognize that. The best experience I have had was when a harley guy told my ex she "needed to take her place on the back where bitches go" when she parked her zx6rr near him. She punched him in the balls.It was awsome.

Yeah it is fascinating how harley owners these days don't even know what kind of motor they have other than what the dealership tells them. I have a harley sitting in my garage that hasn't really moved since january. My buell and yamaha classic get ask the ass time.

Tends to be the new breed of Harley guy that talks trash. That salesman was probably selling Kia cars last year and only knows what he read in the brochures about Harleys.

I'd say "Lets go!" And even on my 03 9R (sold recently) I'd beat the new HD's. Sure those 103's boogie for about 60mph but even my buddies 127 CI Ultima in a big dog can only beat the 9 for a little while. But that's another reason I have an 05 ZX12R

I have yet to see a HD other than a vrod that will go over 105 MPH..

Kid and gaxb ya I fell over I was laughing so hard. Best thing is she is like 5 1 and can not put both feet on the ground at the same time with her bike.

Rt performance, my moms boyfriend tried to call my 220 hp track only zx10r a little girly bike. Its like I am still fighting wheelies at well over 100 mph and your struggling to hit 100. Harley guys watch sons of anarchy and think that by wearing a black shirt a dew rag make them bad ass. To solve this I say give the isle of man tt primetime coverage. I believe slow mo video of john mcguinnes bouncing through ballagary at 150 will make their nuts shrivel up haha

I hear all of ya (my fellow Buellers). I Love all bikes(American, Nippon, Euro..even Indian). They all have something to offer,someone, somewhere. Some are Winnibegos, some are Ferraris, some are muscle cars, some are jeeps etc. You get the anology. The common problem that gets our GOAT, are the misguided that get on a brand and believe that it is not only the best, but that everything else "is NOT a motorcycle" !?? Where do they get infected with this almost arian desease ? Answer me that?
PS: I wave to everyone..even those in orange & black that dont wave. They need our sympathy and a cure.
