No! Cooter is WRONG. This is a fact.

Thats like saying a 1203 motor is better than an 1190.

Don't listen to Cooter, he just wants to trade you for his 1203 and a box of wine.

Your motor is going to be a ripper. I would love to put that in my S1.

Did Dark Horse give you a max RPM for the assembly?

Andrew at dark horse said this bottom end can take any rpm I can throw at it.
 
I went big bore cause I got a sweet deal. A xb9 with a 1050 kit, xb12 header, xb12 throttle body, k@n, nice exhaust, and a tune makes a nice motor. If I did it again I’d just stick with a 1050. Only because of cost
