Why do your heads have Harley style breather holes on them?

Cause Harley made Buell??.....

That engine is clean... Needs a nice stand and a glass top. Perfect table. Or a lamp coming out the throttle body, reading lamp.

Ya dan just threw some aluminum plugs in there. Looks like ray charles drilled the holes with his feet. Won’t see it installed in the frame anyways. I didn’t complain about it too much

I had assumed they were your stock heads, so I was surprised to see that. Yeah, no one will ever see them... and you can tell people they were from an XBRR. LOL.

Ya my stock heads need work. Rear has a valve wedged in it sideways. Those heads mite be salvageable. Maybe stage 3 head work down the road...

Last second change. Going with redshift 585s. Hoping to have it running by the end of the weekend. If my new pushrods show up tomorrow...

Seems I was leaving a lot of ponies on the table with the cat 3s. I spent the money. Mite as well enjoy every last ounce of it

I would agree with that. It seems like the Cat 3's were a very streetable well performing cam, but I think in your specific case, finding a cam that likes to play in the higher RPM's would be the better choice for your setup.

Any day now, any daaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

Just kidding, it's a lot of work and waiting for parts but we do expect a good video with sound, please, oh please. If you do, 34:19 and Cooter will clean your bike for a whole year !

In this video I just changed the 50 mile break in oil. Warm start. Very rough tune. Still a lot of tuning to do. Also this thing is freakin LOUD. So just a throttle blip. I will say I’m stunned at how fast it revs.

Make sure the quality is on 720 or it’ll look like ass.
