 Hi folks, thank's for the response!(Barrett) Sorry for the confusion....the bike is a 'XB12SS - Lightening Long ' - 2007.
I've been trying to sort other problem's in my life....time. :sorrow: Sorry for the slow post, response. I have looked/read you're post from the link you sent.

Regarding the XB drive belts, I typically direct contact outfits such as BDL and Gates distributor, then supply the belt size to see what they're offering. Dimensions below. The 2003-only is a tough find. Can't recall its specs but know I have it somewhere on file here.

ALL MODELS XB 2004-2010 STANDARD FRAME DRIVE BELT IS 128TOOTH----14MM PITCH---1-1/8TH INCH WIDTH
ALL MODELS XB 2005-2010 LONG FRAME DRIVE BELT IS 135 TOOTH---14MM PITCH---1-1/8TH INCH WIDTH
LONG FRAME MODELS ARE THE ULYSSES X--ULYSSES XT TOURING--Ss LIGHTNING LONG--STT LIGHTNING LONG TROPHY

Anyway according to a local HD shop the difference is the length of the belt.(swing arm length I guess) Mine is a '135 tooth', belt. So I hope I have cleared the murky water's?
Barrett - you state the pitch of the belt is:
14mm(I assume you're measuring centre of 1 tooth to the centre of the next tooth - 1 tooth, only?)
Is there a profile of the belt, meaning the tooth male/female contour. As cam belt profile's in past, there were only 3 style's. And cam belt's and this drive belt, are related in design of what they achieve, do. Like industrial belt's.
Just to put you in the picture, a local belt supplier said they might be able to supply via dimension's, but also informed me concerning the belt that relates back to HD, can only be sold at 'HD price', which I think is a bit on the nose considering a generic belt, should be sold at their price, not HD's price!(corporate greed - control!)
Please update me on:
Manufacturer/s - Name's?
Part Number/s?
(define abbreviation's please)
Thank's, Gav

PITCH is the distance between the center-line of 2 adjacent belt teeth

Harley Davidson was always the supplier of Buell drive belts best of my knowledge. HD switched suppliers from Gates to Goodyear for all Buell drive belts around beginning of 2004 model year. Goodyear drive belt is Hibrex aramid construction and purportedly vastly improved over Gates belt.

Purchase part # G0500.1AKF and be done with it.

'Rubber Band'

Yes ^^^^^ Just get the proper belt and check it off the list for at least 50K miles.

Thank's folk's! I understand, just that we here in NZ are held to ransom, by the regime criminal's! Huge price difference. Butt.....I'd better bite the bitter pill!!
Thank's again!

I admire your desire to find a comparable solution. This is just one of those things where a Mfg locks down the specs just for future parts sales. They never plan to be obsolete, lol.

I bought a $123 o-ring today. Viton, about 2" around. Ya:upset:
