    D&D

This is the cheapest I have found. I want to get the D&D also eventually. http://www.pipecity.com/Products/ProductDetails.cfm/Search/44311S/ProductID/30947

New Rizoma Mirrors installed - Very Nice!

Five1, What exhaust do you have on there? Is that D&D? If so tell me your thoughts on it. Thanks.

    Dunlop RoadSmart

I put one on the rear about 1000 miles ago. I am very pleased with it. My bike is primarily transportation to/from work so I don't get the opportunity to really push it much but the tire has been great for me in all weather conditions. I will be replacing the front to match. Purchased mine...

    Head light going dim xb12s

Racer, have you tried replacing the voltage reg? Mine seems like it might be getting worse. I would hate to be riding and lose my lights. Anyone else have suggestions before I start throwing money at this?

    Head light going dim xb12s

My bike does the same thing and it also has a new battery. I ride it regularly. I am thinking it is the voltage reg also. Hopefully it makes it another month cause then my riding season will be over.

    Shifting/Transmission

The "creamy" part is most likely water or moisture. When moisture gets mixed with oil it turns milky and creamy. I would clean it out as much as possible, refill with AMSoil, and try riding it again. I am certain you will feel a huge difference in the shifting. Then to be extra careful, I...

    Clicking in front end???

Everything except the braking surface. Basically just the bolts and where the rotor mounts to the wheel. Relax Lefox, I know better than to paint the braking surface.[cool]

    Clicking in front end???

I replaced the pads. Caliper looks good. Brakes work a ton better but the clicking is still there. I did not find anything wrong with the rotor either but maybe I will buy new hardware, then take it apart and clean everything really well. I want to paint my wheels and rotor anyway. Maybe I...

    Wider Rear Tire

If you want to spend the money grandstanddesigns.com has a 240 kit. I believe you use the stock swingarm but they widen your rim and you need a chain conversion. It looks cool, but a little too much $ for me.

    Clicking in front end???

Thanks for the responses guys. Lefox, I have not changed anything. It actually has been there a while but I kind of disregarded it. Then a friend of mine with more Buell experience than me rode it and asked me what it was. So now I concentrate on it and I want to fix it. Typeone, I was...

    Clicking in front end???

First off, I have an 03 XB9S. When I grab the front brake I initially hear and feel a click noise. I have not been able to pinpoint where it is coming from. I tried retightening the steering head, that didn't fix it. It doesn't seem to be coming from inside the forks. I don't see anything...

    Harley 105th

Good luck finding a room now. I was at the 100th and we had a great time. Elton John was good and i enjoyed it but it really wasn't appropriate for that type of crowd. Good luck finding a room and post pics when you get back.

    XBR clip-on conversion for XBS

Oh yeah, how do you like the feel compared to stock? I think I would have to ride an R before attempting this mod.

    Rear wheel bearing

It appears to have a little orange tinit left on it so I am going to assume it has been replaced. I suppose if I washed it the orange might be more noticeable. Thanks.

    Rear wheel bearing

Thanks Lefox, I'll check it out. I wonder if the dealer would still cover the recall?

    Rear wheel bearing

Lefox, These orange bearings, can I see them without removing the wheel? Mine is 2003 also and I bought it used. I would like to make sure mine are done before I have a problem.

    Primary Oil Discussion

I have amsoil 20w50 in both and am very happy with the clutch, shifting and engine idle. Very pleased all the way around.
