    ok.just got it done. looks great. NOW i tried to use the small nail from the bottom, from the top, even a jewlers kit from both ends at the same time. I couldn't get the clips out. in fact of of the small this nails i used broke and I cut my thumb :( anyways so I went to my old technique... ME...

    plus i don't see how it'd be a warming up problem after an hour. 15 minutes ok ya. but an hour? thats a long time. check your oil levels like i did mine. if your oil is low and the light isn't coming on (mine didn't) you may wanna look in to this

    flaya564. what i would also take a look at, is if your intake is kinda gummed up. Only reason why i say this is, if the throttle is gettin stuck or the air intake valve is, that's gonna give it that high RPM because its just pouring in fuel. then when you release the clutch a little and those...

    OH macbuell, did you paint your headers. I take it you've been riding a lot, and your don't look like mine. maybe mine weren't taken care of before but they're all discolored from the heat or something. anyways if you did. how did you get the rear header off?

    sweet pulley cover mod. i didn't notice that before. OK so i wanna say this is now 4 or 5th on the to do list. I think I'll move the "wrapping my headers" project to the winter. so maybe i can get this in at #5 after, the headlight mod, breather mod, led mod, and...there was one other mod.

    fixed it. what the problem is, is from that oil leak. once i put a new line on there it hasn't done it once. not even a little. Not sure why maybe the engine has to pump oil harder, not sure. but either way this effected the throttle issue and the knock i was getting

    so far i Sprayed lubricant on the throttle and the cables underneath the airbox and next to the air intake valve. I also took a look at the idle adjustment screw adn figured if it was that then this would happen all the time and not just some of the time. this happens for about 50% of everytime...

    Ok this is whats going on. My buell starts up every morning just fine. Problem is, is that once its warm the RPM's won't go much below 3000. Now its supposed to idle at 1100 rpm's, and it'll be there (at first) but when I get to a light and pull in the clutch, those rpm's won't go below 3000...

    One question. did you guys have to take off the headers to do this, or just figure out the length and did them with them still on the bike? I only ask cuz I'm not much of a mechanic

    LED blinkers in rear peg supports

    ok so did you wire them all together like one pos wire, to the negative of another, and the positive of that one tho the negative of the other? Or all the positves to one main wire, and all the negatives to one main negative? I don't know much about wiring, especially a bunch of small bulbs.

    Bro, loved this story. i feel the same way. I just got my 04 buell but i've had bikes before. I still have yet to do any mods, but i can't wait to get started. that is why i switched back to buell after having a crotch rocket. I love having something different and mine. so many crotch rockets...
