    Shifter linkage

Cosworth hooked me up, I can't thank him enough! I appreciate everything, guys, hope to be back on the road in a couple weeks.

    Shifter linkage

Can't figure out how to edit original post, but Cosworth may have taken care of me. My linkage is intact and the pedal is broken but I think I can repair it. Thanks for all the offers, guys.

Awesome, I'll throw you a PM!

    Shifter linkage

Yeah, the pedal, linkage, and splines piece that attaches to the trans, all three. Came down in 2nd a little crooked and didn't have the power/time in 3rd to lighten the front before it wobbled and high sided. It cruised over into someone's yard and took a break while I finished tucking...

    Shifter linkage

The bike got a little lazy and decided to lay down on me last night, mostly cosmetic damage but I did lose my shifter stuff. I was mostly geared up, but my jacket pulled up and my stomach got some rash. =\ PM me a price, shipped, to 45620 Thanks!

Differences between EcmSpy 1.x and EcmSpy 2.0?

Depending on exactly what you're asking, I messed with my '03 XB9s all the time with ECMSpy. Dabbled around with the tuning guides here, Megalog and VE Analyzer, it was easy as pie. Bike's midrange really fattened up. I just picked up an '08 XB12s, got my ECM 2.0 clearance to tweak it...

New Member: Getting back on two wheels

Small world, I actually just rode that 08 SCG you mentioned earlier 5 hours back to my house in Ohio. He wouldn't drop quite as low as I wanted in price, but it was such a nice bike I didn't mind. :) Congrats on the new bike, man. [cool]

Not to point out the obvious, but that was pretty rude. :p

    Extremly random XB sighting

Heh, went back to check out his jacket and noticed there was a decent wheelie at 3:42.

    Extremly random XB sighting

Yeah, I kinda dig the song they linked in their original FB post. "Fattie Fattie Boom Boom" I dug the dude beating on the random buckets to the beat of the song. I'm still debating on how deep to dig into this crew.

    Extremly random XB sighting

A family member of mine is into a band called "Die Antwoord". Off one of their FB links I was cruising through their vids and happened to catch a sighting of an XBR. From around 2:18-3:10 there's some decent tire-smoking from a Firebolt. Not much else in the song Buellwise, but if it's...

    Getting passed

Where's squidbuellie's "maximum trolling" post at? I would say it's long overdue in this thread. [down]

    Engine light at high rpm....

Make sure the grounds and sense wire for the VR are clean. Not that it's anywhere near the same vehicle, but on old Dodges the connectors for the sense wire get corroded and the resistance makes the VR see less voltage than the alternator is putting out. It then raises voltage until it sees...

    my battle with the wobbles

My '03 Lightning gets a little wobbly above 90 as well. I've always attributed it to the wind pulling me back and unloading the front tire. If I lean way forward and down over the tank it settles it down, but I'd just as soon not go that fast around here anyways. Too many deer.

Help Finding a Diesel Engine....NON MOTORCYCLE RELATED

Why not just a 3.9 4bt? Unless this other engine is a lot lighter or something then I can't figure a reason to go through the hassle of tracking it down. The 6bt is proven and well covered in the aftermarket and most of the things made for it can be used on the 4bt as well.

    New guy

Just figured I'd update on my third day of tuning. I finally locked out the AFV on my first trip out this evening. Rode up my road to the corner, turned out onto the road, and cracked into first. It wrapped first noticeably faster than before and when I grabbed second it picked the front tire...

Question for the fox body mustang guys.

Glad to hear it, man! Now get out there and start embarrassing some Chevys. :D

    New guy

And so it starts: I picked up a $150 Dell mini 9 on Ebay and grabbed the downloads for ECMSpy and Megalog viewer. I followed Gatorbuell's Writeup on using VE Analyzer and I now have a bike with a much smoother, stronger midrange. It still has some hiccups putting around in 1st and second...

    Ohio Buellers

Cheshire, Ohio here. Clear down in the southeast corner, as far as you an get from anything. It's the same as it is on the diesel sites, everyone is way up north. I can't decide if nobody around here has a diesel/Buell or if they just don't know how the Internet works.
