Best mirror option for 2003 XB9S

I put some Aprilia Tuono mirrors on my 04 XB-12S. It didn't come with any mirrors and they cost about the same as factory mirrors. They look a little better and give you a better view as well.

2009 Buell Ulysses XB12x with 2750 miles What is it worth?

Certain small specialty parts may become harder to find, particularly new from a dealer, but you can always source them from somewhere. You may need to search for used parts on Ebay, but eventually you'll find a part. Just don't expect getting the part the next day off of Amazon. The hardest...

    Engine heat

I added the comfort kit to my 2004 XB-12S and it made a very noticeable difference in the heat. It went from scalding hot to warm. That and EZ clutch pull kit (lowered the clutch pull weight), made all the difference in my commute.

Anyone Else have custom wrap or paint on their bolts?

Here are a couple more. I used gold, silver & copper metallic Sharpie.

Anyone Else have custom wrap or paint on their bolts?

Here is a close up of it. I sprayed the belly pan with plastic dip and used metallic Sharpie for the design.

Anyone Else have custom wrap or paint on their bolts?

Here is a simple digital camo sticker job I did myself. I was bored and wanted to give it a try, know I could reverse it at anytime. It was $25-30 in vinyl from Ebay and a few hours work.

Lost key dont know key code how do I remove the ignition?

This was 3 or 4 years ago for my 2004 XB12S, so I'm assuming it is still the same.

Lost key dont know key code how do I remove the ignition?

If you go to an HD dealership, they can make you a copy with your VIN. I had to show my registration & ID for proof of ownership. But it took about a week and it was around $30 for a pair of factory replacement keys. After I used it once or twice, I found my originals.

XB Frame Pucks...Possible Future Supply...I need your old Frame Pucks to do it

I'm assuming the pucks aren't easy to remove on an existing bike? How are they attached? Mine has damage from being low sided on both sides before the pucks were installed. I always thought about removing them and smoothing out the damage under the pucks. But never really looked into how the...

    Night riding

There is a slurry pit about 1 mile from my house right next to the road. When I ride past I need to duck down behind my windscreen or my face shield gets plastered. Luckily it is not on my way to work and I rarely need to go that way unless I am taking a nice Sunday ride. Even with my full...

    Hydraulic Clutch

There are the clutch pull kits from Mueller, Free Spirits, & Clutchlite. They give you a little better leverage to lower the clutch pull. I added a Free Spirits one and it made a noticeable difference. I lightened the clutch pull by 15-25% and made my XB much more pleasant to ride in stop &...

    WTS/T motorcycles in Chandler, AZ

The last half dozen bikes I've been interested in have all been 400-1500 miles away. That is always how it goes. If you are seriously interested looking into shipping it and I can work something out with you. But shipping always makes a good deal not so much of one.

    WTS/T motorcycles in Chandler, AZ

I got too many and want to thin the heard. I'm mainly bored and am looking for new toys. SOLD 2004 Buell XB-12S w/ 45K miles on it. Has factory race exhaust & ECU. It will need new tires soon as these are 6 years old. Stock seat. Has been low sided on both sides, dents/scratches have been...

    Anybody in Phoenix? TPS reset

I'm in the East Valley in Chandler and have a Bluetooth set up you can use. I've done it a few times, but just far enough apart that I have to re-read the instructions every time. But it is really simple to do.

Adding a new toy to the stable

I was going to look at that bike myself (I'm in Chandler). But another bike trade was in the works (trade my Suzuki DR650 for a Triumph Bonnie). The dude made a deal with me and flaked last night. So I missed out on both bikes. I'm glad somebody who enjoys it got it.

    Thank god for frame pucks!

Or you can do like the previous owner of my XB did. Low side on both sides and then buy the pucks to cover the scratches.

    Stock right scoop?

I'm in Phoenix and did just the larger RSS only. It made a noticeable change to the heat. It's not a night and day difference, but it is noticeable cooler and worth the expense. I have not added a heat shield, so I can't speak on that. Although I always think about doing it and get side...

What Year Lightning Should I be Looking at to Purchase?

I'm 6'3" and 300# after a diet. I ride a 2004 XB-12S and am comfortable on it, particularly around town. I also ride a Suzuki Bandit 1200S and a Suzuki DR650. The Bandit has a similar riding position and the DR is spread out. I do look like a gorilla trying to hump a football, but I truly...
