Lordfenwick you are WRONG... my 03 XB9R has a stand switch as all do. it is not part of the starting circut. put your stand down, kick it in to gear, let the clutch out with the stand down.... hmmm bike shuts off

I am a technician at a GM dealership and we see a lot of engine performance issues with people running fuel in their cars that has 15%+ in it. It causes an ashy substance to accumulate on the tip of the injecters and plug them up... All of the newer engines are designed to run on fuel with 10%...

If you wanted to adjust it with the cross link like you tried to there are rubber o-rings built in to the link so that it will not vibrate loose. It is hard to turn but can be done that is how I adjusted mine.

Man I wish we had gas stations around here like that. The only place we can get C12 race fuel (110) octane is the local circle track or the drag strip. The best we can get at the pump is 93... so that is what I run.
