    A better way to adjust the primary chain?

    I was never able to adjust mine properly. I opened up the primary and found that the inner thrust washer behind the clutch pack was missing. Put that in there, and SHAZAM! Worked great. Take off the clutch inspection cover, grab the clutch adjustment screw and see if there is in-out movement...

    I swapped to an sTT swing arm, and when I got the set-up, the PO had cut the fender like this. Very tasteful i.m.o. It came from the Netherlands. Looks great, but in the rain, you WILL have wet-ass.

    Slop in kickstand?

    Lean it up against something and take the bolt out. There is some slop in there, but it would be kosher to check, and not come out from somewhere and find yer scoot layin on it's side.     05XB12R. 29000 miles and no engine probs at all. All maintenance done by me and per the service manual. Daily driver, except in winter.

    Triumph Thruxton

    The only complaints about the Thruxton, is that if you push in the corners, you will notice the limits of it's suspension. Then again, it's not a race bike. It sure is sweet, and I would buy one as well.
