    Need race map please!!!

http://www.purpony.net/ecmspy-maps.html When you open the race map for your year just save the maps. Its a .msq file. Then after you load/retreive the original eeprom from your bike you can save just the maps to it. This guarantees you wont end up with a mismatch in the firmware

Crankcase breather mod - What did I do wrong??

This is what I did. Ran the hose down the inside of the frame and joined the rear with the front using a tee. Then you dont see it running down the side of the engine. Single line ran down to just behind the footpeg bracket. I left the hose open at the end. Occasionally it would get excited...

Sad day - crashed my beautiful '09 Firebolt today

High sides are tough to protect against. Most of the sliders are just protection for a low side. Probably worth a closer look at the damage to evaluate the reparability, but it might also be an opportunity to give something else a try.

    Charcoal removal

This was done on a multi jet fusion machine with 80 micron layers. Are you sure PLA is a good choice? Isnt that limited to about 50°C (~120°F) service temperature. Can you do abs or nylon?

has anyone done this yet? Just printed the blockoff plate out of PA12 nylon. It came out really well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkTar2hSUmU

2 consecutive bearing failures. I need help bad

Do you know where they are sourcing the bearings? If they are using SKF I hope they are going to a local bearing supply company or legitimate supplier. https://www.motionindustries.com/productDetail.jsp?sku=04225797 The only reason I ask is because there are significant instances of...

    Rear wheel bearing/wheel

Loctite makes retaining compound which is made for doing just that. 620 is probably the most common. Ive used it on a dirtbike crank bearing before.

    Spark plugs

Still resist fouling better which is an issue for some people that like to start their bikes and shut them off without letting them warm up. Use them, dont use them, I dont care but just passing along info. Ive read several SAE papers about them. Its not just marketing.

    Spark plugs

doesnt change much. Iridium resists fouling better and last longer without needing to be changed.

    Spark plugs

Thats correct. Different manufacturers use a different number scale for heat range. The stock 10r12a is equivalent to the NGK dcpr8e. I recommend adding the ix suffix to get the iridium version.

    Spark plugs

NGK DCPR8EIX works great (#6546 if you go to an auto parts store and ask about them). A lot of people think they should go 1 step colder and use a 9 heat range, but I dont agree. Stick with stock heat range unless you're adding forced induction or raising the compression.

Which brake pads to take for ZTL2 ?

I think you are talking about axle sliders. I can see the look not being for everyone but they do help protect some things if the bike ever goes down.

Which brake pads to take for ZTL2 ?

If you like those give the EBC EPFA454/4HH a try next time. I think they have a lot better initial bite without being too crazy. Either way EBC has been the best with brake dust and noise. https://ebcbrakes.com/product/extreme-pro-brake-pads/ People used to swear by the lyndall gold pads and...
