    max rpm for xb12 ecm?

    Reviving an old post. Just returned my 09 XB12ss to stock, was running a ebr race ecm and after market exhaust... I miss the extra revs of the race ecm, but the bike runs better with stock ecm. Can I bump up my redline to 7k? Do the stock fuel/timing maps go that high?

    Thats the way it is in most places around the world. "Sportbikes" aren't really purchased that much outside of the US and Europe ( yes they are bought in other markets, but NOWHERE close to our market share)

    Only via a dealer ecu flash update to your bike. They re-write the ecu and add some new lines of code in there to add a perameter for fan on/off depending on speed(as well as temp)

    That was the stock BUEZD file (which actually has smoother power delivery than the race ECM but has poor cooling and still suffers from pops 3000rpms amd down) I also have the 09 EBR race BUE2D file that makes the bike scream above 4k rpms , has better cooling, but pops like crazy on overrun...

    I have a BUE2D file in .xpr format that I need help adjusting my 0-3500rpm deceleration popping. Guess the bottom two rows in the fuel map need to be richened up a little bit. Can anyone help me with that? All I have available is ECMDROID and cant decipher the fuel map in the EEPROM Editor

    Anyone know exactly the 2010/ebr ecm cooling fan #s?

    Maybe ecmspy can do it now. Previously it would brick your ecm. Id wait to hear from someone that has successfully done it before messing with a $300 ecm. I can read EBR file and save it on my phone. But, I didnt try to alter it as previously they were locked and didnt want to risk wrecking it.

    The EBR ecu is only programable with the EBR software. Not sure if you can connect a cable to your phone or tablet to run ecm droid. It may be set up to run by bluetooth only.
