    So I got home and the damage isn't as bad as I remember. Basically, the primary cover and the shift lever took the blunt of the damage. The rest is all cosmetic. I will order the parts this week and keep you posted. Sorry for the bad pics, the garage is dark. restlessrustler, I sent you a PM

    Well, the Army is finally sending me back home so it's time to fix the bike. I will probably use new parts as I want the bike back in perfect condition. Plus this might be a good excuse to get a few upgraded goodies... Pics and updates after I get home next week.

    Would the stock 2010 scoop fit? It's not as good as the big rss, but I can tell you from experience it keeps it cooler.

    I wouldn't bother with aftermarket pistons unless there was at least a compression increase. Unless they are close in price and forged.

    Nice hardware fellas, I am field artillery, the mk19 is not the largest weapon system we have just one of the most fun. Though I haven't actually seen one get any real action since '02 when NATO said it was 'inhumane'
