2500 at best since the plastics have been painted, look over the side that was damaged...go from there. as for the belt, look for teeth wear, threads sticking out from the sides of the belt, cuts or gouges in it. if it looks good, then you're ok. my belt has just shy of 64k on it. look at the forks for signs of leakage, rust on wheel bearings, take the seat off and look over everything visible, have the bike turned on and check the cluster that all lights are working, check the turn signals, brake light at both hand lever and foot brake, look at tire wear indicators and see how much life is left on 'em, roll the bike several feet forward and backwards and listen for worn bearings in the idler pulley, check the surface of the idler pulley that the coating is intact all the way around, look at both cylinder base gaskets closely for any signs of leaking, same for rocker box covers and push rods upper and lowers seals, rocker box cover bolts also. look at oil line connections for signs of leaks. and being that it is an "SL" side stand bolt, you may want to replace it with the upgraded pin since this was a recall item on the '03 SL models. I did a dye-pen inspection on the side stand bolt and it was fine, then swapped out my suspension to an S a few years ago. good luck and let us know the outcome
