04 xb12r primary cvr

I have about 50k miles on my firebolt and it seems that the lip for my ball and ramp pulls out every 25000 miles was wondering if anybody else has had this issue I'm a harley and buell tech have checked clutch adjustment many of times just curious if anyone else has had this issue on my second primary cvr now gets annoying

You're not the only one. Check out the following link. It contains two different repairs with pictures(scroll down some). Hopefully you didn't throw out your original cover and you can experiment on it.

Thanks for sending me the link on how to fix this I havnt thrown the cvr out I used an old one and had a machinist friend build up a weld and then machine out a new lip in it hopefully it works and holds but I have another cvr I'm going to try nd fix using the link u sent me greatly appreciated primary cvrs arnt cheap and are soon gonna be tuff to find

The 04 and 2005 cover is almost the same and CAN be hard to come by. LSHD 1 .com may have a cover for you.
Try the reinvented option for the repair of your original Transmission [primary] cover,
I myself have done that repair many times for a couple of customers in my shop. Works very well. Good Luck.*Jimi
