06 xb 12 low beam.

my 06 xb12Ss low beam went out and i am looking for a deal on one..and i would like to convert it so both bulbs come on..i had seen info before here..but do i use the stock lamps and put it 2 high beams or?

High and low beams use the the same H7 lamp.

i just recently did this mod, its really easy. just search it on you tube, they have great step by step videos. good luck

thumpin: what was said above and in the H7 world of bulbs, i've found that over-the-counter sylvania SilverStar seem to last longest and much brighter than standard duty sylvania or other common brands. and do NOT touch the glass portion of any halogen bulb during install.

i have used the silverstar bulbs in my car and they were bit brighter than stock..do you just go to the local auto parts store and ask for h7 bulbs?
that would make my life a bit easier if true..thanks.

Yes. They have h7 bulbs at most every parts store
