Hi,

My 08 xb12ss is being a little funny when riding.
I recently replaced my VR and exhaust actuator, and since then my bike is weird. I had done a TPS reset and went for a ride for the bike to learn. The bike was great for a while, in fact it seemed to have heaps of pick up through the whole rev range. I have tested and adjusted the exhaust act. As per manual.

Sometimes when I start the bike it runs perfect, sometimes it stalls. When I'm riding, there is a noticeable lag in torque from 3k to 5k (sometimes). I know this is not normal because it has been great until recently. There is also a struggle to take off at the lights without giving the bike heaps of revs. The problem seems to be worse when it is warmed up.

I have done a datalogging session and TPS looks ok. I have been told the AFV should be 100 and it was only at 74. Would this be what is affecting the bike? Can I change the value in tunerPro RT? Any help would be appreciated because I just want to be able to ride it.

I have the datalogging file if that will help. Sorry for the long post.

I use ecmspy and you can reset your AFV , haven't used tuner pro but you should be able to. To answer your question yes get your afv up to 100.

when hooked up to ecm spy and bike running, watch your temp gauge (on ecmspy), do the numbers bounce up and down?If they do then keep reading.
Had similar experience as what you describe, because my temp sensor was shorting out.so the bike was trying to compensate for the temp.sometimes it would show code 14,short to ets,but not always.May not be your problem,
but something to look for.good luck

Thanks ztied. I will check it out this weekend. I dont have ECMspy anymore because I had to reformat the Harddrive on my computer. I cant afford the cost of another donation to get the data.

I will check out the data from the datalogging session of Tunerpro RT and see what teh tem is doing.

Cheers

Aha. Aber Mopped fahren. Wenn man sich nicht benimmt wie eine offene Hose, dann bekommt man normalerweise bei PC-Fehlern eine neue Aktivierung umsonst. Muss man natürlich nachfragen ...
