I'm a traveling sales rep. I cover Tx, Ok, La, Ar. I've got easy access to these places. I'm willing to go where ever for the right one. This may mean working out shipping and getting audio/video files of the right one

Hey!
Us nerdy guys still love that pos Delorean!

They are iconic.....I mean come on 80s, cocaine, plastic and poor build quality! Seems like the 80s to me. But that's coming from someone who didn't live through the 80's.

One day, I too shall have my time machine!

Recently I have had a custom seat made by Corbin. Real American craftmanship! The seat is basically talking the shape of your ass after you have done 1500 miles on it. Ever since I have this great 'excuse' not to let friends take it for a ride!!! 😎....hahaha

I would not stick with an XB older than 2009 even it has low miles etc. Last two years XB models have a lot of improvements which make your life carefree and even high mileage 09-10 XB will have no problem longer than low mileage old models. Some of the improvements are really critical and can eliminate a lot of PITA. For example last years XB have maintenance free and safe new generation gerotor oil pump without worm-gear like on the older models, so you have no risk to destroy the engine. Plus new models gaskets have better material and work better against oil leaks and will protect your bike against oil mess and air fan oil flooding. If I would have a choice between 2009 and 2010 I would stick with a 2010 XB because it has some improvements over the 2009, and the most critical improvement over the 2009 is an extra rear wheel bearing on the sprocket side, so you will have less problem with rear wheel bearing malfunction.

I almost bought the 2010 in TX last month, but couldn't pass up the deal I got on a brand new EBR. If the 2010 is still around when I pay off the EBR, I will pick that one up too. I like the lower SCG model, and they only made 50 for the US in 2010 (30 kick ash translucent like the one in TX, 10 black, and 10 cherry bomb).

Pick of my EBR because I'm an attention whore. :)

Qurturn10- man you love pimping out pics out of your bike! I don't blame you bud! It is a sweet ride. Now get rid of those warning stickers so it doesn't look like you're test driving it!!!!!

Lol, thanks. The stickers have been removed - I just haven't taken any new pics since then. Shocking, right? :)

Back to the topic though, that 2010 is really a great deal. Hopefully an enthusiast picks it up.

I'm within weeks of having everything in order to go pick up either the black 2010 or the blue 2009. I'm super pumped about it. Got the new helmet ordered, shopping gloves, pants, and boots/shoes now.

Ok. I've bought the dream. I've paid for the shipping. I'd like some help with a few things, if you could.
1-mean looking bar end mirror options
2-help choosing sliders. (I don't know what spools are)
3-does the blue on the asv levers match the hero blue plastics? If not I'll go black.
Thanks guys

I have the CRG Arrow mirrors, and think they look aggressive, plus they are easily adjustable.

5.0dro axle sliders and case sliders are a must, as well as frame pucks if it doesn't already have them.

Spools give you a more secure footing for using a rear stand.
