1125cr gear noises

I am hearing some weird noises.. started a few days ago.. shifts got clunky and very loud will cruise and shifting normally. But when I do quick shifts I don't hear it.. also down shifts are loud too.. I put the bike on the rear stand and put it in gear and rocked the wheel back and forth and it clunks very hard in both directions when it stops. It moves quite a bit too.. maybe 1/8 of a turn.. has anyone else experienced this with the 1125.. I also heard a slight rattling every once in awhile.. sometime its there and sometimes its not

Whens the last time you changed your oil? I know our bikes tranny becomes louder when we are low on oil.

About 1400 to 1800 miles ago.. the oil level looks fine every time I check before I ride.. its an 09 but has a 10 motor.. so no dipstick. And the oil level is checked with the bike on its side stand at operating temp.. looking at the sight glass it is always where it needs to be

long shot, but maybe check your drive belt front pulley (and tensioner i dunno if 1125's have those???) maybe something didnt quite get torqued on reassembly and has slowly worked loose??? 1/8 doesnt sound like its really off the wall amounts of slack, but i dont blame you for worrying about noises, im always hearing new ones, most are nothing, just me being crazy....

I double checked the rear wheel bearing just for ***** and giggles.. its still good. I also checked the oil level again today. Once I opened the fill cap it dropped quite a bit so I filled it up to where it should be.. see what happens later today when I go ride..
