Ok so here are a few pics of the installed laminar lip in smoke gray. Took it out for a quick spin up to 100MPH. The screen makes for a totally different riding experience. I no longer have the sensation of my arms being slowly yet forcefully being ripped out of my shoulder sockets at speeds above 70. Buffeting is minimal and my riding posture is a much more relaxed. The shield is firmly mounted in place with the four dualoc disk dots provided by Laminar. They also have a nylon faster mount they will provide if you are so inclined. I didn't notice any flexing at all. The lip is fairly stable at speed. The only issue I have (minor) is that part of the shield impedes access to the key. This is a great and much need modification.

The cockpit will allow some protection of my electronics.

I mounted it as high as I could on the front cowl. Shorter riders maybe able to mount it lower so the lines flow better.

I am sure it works pretty good, but I am 'concern' with the overall look![confused]

Is it removable? It would be great for long freeway rides... It doesnt look too bad though, nice mod, thanks for the post.

I normally HATE the look of a Laminar Lip, but this one isn't so bad. Probably pretty good for longer highway rides, I bet.

I got mine put on too but have only used it around town so far... Hoping to get a better ride in soon.

I agree, those turn indicators look like cheap chinese parts. I installed a set of LED Rizomas.

What you don't like the front signals? Neither did I, they were just what I had available in the garage at the time. I have since upgraded them.

From the few times I spun it up on the highway, the lip is good up to about 8o mph then it feels the same as no lip....

is it just me or does that windscreen and the cr headlight look like an arbiter's head on the Halo games?? anyone? anyone?
