I like it.
Can we see more angles? Maybe one shot without the passenger pegs plz?

Not exactly how I thought people would react! Haha everyone gets their own opinion tho! I think it's cool, I couldn't be happier with it. I also installed a quick action throttle which is awesome. The 1125r looks were pretty much love it or hate it to start with so when I bought it I knew something had to change. I think what I've done balances the bike. As for the colors, the white is vinyl wrap, I can pull it off whenever I just thought I'd try it, and the EBR stickers I made using a laser engraver to cut them out of adhesive, and the colored stickers are only on there until I get bored of them, that usually happens after a few weeks. I don't want to throw away the stickers so I throw them on the bike then after a while I realize they stand out too much and remove them. Anyways maybe you guys could be more specific about what you don't like? I'm always open to input! :)

It really does look good. You guys are just enphasizing on the not finished. He can't work on his bike a lot. The gap between the frame tail can be fixed. And I love the under tail. The firebolt underpan is way tigher to the subframe which looks way better then that droopy 1125 underpan which I know we've all thought before. and the exhaust tips are awesome for a stock can. I hate the factory ones spitting **** all on your brake and rim. And paint sheme is matter of opinion.

No thanks again. Does nothing for the looks of the bike.

JMO - Just My Opinion.

I was in HS once and my taste wasnt so poor.........

Like you said it's all about opinion, what is it that you don't like about it? You're taking time out of you're day to bash on it and if you're anything like me time is precious, so I'm curious, what is it that's got you gagging?

I was curious what the FreeSpirits brackets would do without their associated plastics. I nearly bought the set John had for sale there for a while. The two things I was worried about seem to have resulted, the gap between the tail plastic/frame, and the misalignment of the seat with the air box cover. The gap is somewhat addressable with the addition of some ABS plastic sheets or the like. The misalignment may be more challenging to address. I do like the idea of raising the tail and cleaning up the undertail, but not a fan of their shroud solution. I also use the "trunk" space, and their plastics make it into a solid piece with no opening. Here is the complete FreeSpirits kit for reference for those who haven't seen it. The back end of the tail plastics where it meets the frame looks really chunky/beefy on the white bike.

My opinion is that raising the tail with the brackets does nothing for the look except to make a gap at frame and I'm not sure the difference between the firebolt undertail and the 1125 is that noticeable either. As far as the stickers and white pieces while they are not my style if that's what you like then that's awesome. Regardless of what anyone else's opinion is have fun working on your bike and making it your own.

I was going to say noobuel. What he did on bad web wasn't that difficult just have to make sure you measure right so your straight. All he did was cut his bottom mounts off then put in extensions and welded it all back up. And has anyone seen Texasroadrangers 1125r when he had these brackets. It looks damn good. He had the ASB rear end though. And 1125rr shrouds.

Ya, simple enough if you have the right aluminum welding equipment and the skill to do it. But if you don't have the skill or equipment you are left with finding a friend or shop to do the fabrication, and they will likely want specifics. "How much material do you want me to add? " etc. Not inclined to pay shop rates for a guy to experiment with a welder and the only extra subframe i have if i can't give him better direction of what needs to be done.

I try not to be negative but if you want peoples opinions..... i think it looks worse than before. None of the lines flow now. The seat has to be so uncomfortable when you get down close on the seat.

At least get a whole new seat remade to flow with the air box. AHH it hurts to see.

Heres the next mod everyone, maybe this one will get a little more love. Im going to swap the 1125r front end for the xbr front end. Before everyone gives me a hard time about losing wind protection and all that, I am 5'6", I can tuck behind an r6 double bubble windscreen, an xb double bubble should be just fine for me, not everyone and I understand that. So that said what does everyone think?[up][down]

The xb front fairing has been done. It is a good looking mod. The mountin points for the 1125 and xbr fairing stays are very similar. The most complicated part will be the wiring. There are a few writeups on badweb.

I might experiment around with using the 1125r H8 bulbs in the firebolt projector headlight set up, might not work but if it does the switch back and forth would be a breeze if i ever wanted to. Also along the same lines, I may try to use the 1125r fairing stay, the bottom mounts are the same, and the top mounts dont line up but i could drill new holes closer to the end of the fairing and use the existing holes to mount flushmounts? idk just an idea.

All the parts are purchased as well as an EBR ECM, EBR triple, steering stop, solenoid resistor, brake pads, levers, and zg windscreen (xbr)! I should have everything done by this weekend, so pictures will be up soon. Let me know if you want a write up on anything. I also bought a cr clutch line because it is bent a little different at the reservoir and I think I'll get a little more clearance since I'm gonna be pushing it with clip ons and the firebolt front end.. I'm still open to paint scheme ideas, idk if I'm too wild about the black white and blue so if you've got any ideas throw them at me. Maybe yellow??
