It depends on your size and proportions IMO. I prefer the Ss as a daily commuter for us taller guys. If the bike is too small for you, fatigue will become an issue

Yep, this is where a dual sport or supermoto excels too. Most of them have seat heights in the 33-36" range (an Ss only has a 30.5" height & my G650x has a 36.5" seat!) which should be good for just anyone 6' tall & over.

Get a Uly, ask anyone who has one it is awesome for commuting. I am getting over 42 MPG or better and doing low skilled power wheelies on my way to work almost everyday. The hardsides carry my big arse laptop, HP 4720s, in a backpack, lunch, manuals if I need to work from home, his and hers rain suits, extra riding jackets, reflective vests. One year I delivered 3 Thanksgiving Turkeys and sides to folks who needed it. The thing is a truck on two wheels.
I think EBR is coming out with an 1190 version of the Uly some day, the AX and I can't wait to see it and when someone has a used one for sale.
