Ok can we have 200 rear tires? If so what is a good set for Fireboilt that has a 200 rear?
[up] & [up]Really 1400+ posts, and you havent come across this? Yes, we can fit a 200...The tire becomes too big to produce good handling.
On a firebolt u can run a 200/50 r17. any higher ratio an the tire rubs on the swingarm. 200/50 r17 is; 200mm wide, 50% of 200mm high (from bead to top of tire), 17" rim. 200/55 r17 will rub the swingarm on a firebolt.
Technically that information is incorrect. I ran a 200/55r17 Dunlop D205 tire with a standard swingarm. It did clear the swingarm with a bit of room to spare. If you are using plastic guards maybe those will rub
I didnt say it would cause issues, i saidI don't have any handling issues.
