2004 XB12R Firebolt Bearings

Question from the new guy:
I have a 2004 XB12R Firebolt and I’m looking for good replacement bearings (both rear and front) and I was told that the 2004 takes different bearings then the 05 and newer models. Is that true?

yes and no. wheel bearings updated in like 2006, then a 3rd bearing added to rear wheel in like 2008 or thereabouts. brian knows for sure. go to allballs website and just enter your model and specific year and they will show you the kit for each wheel necessary along with their part #. available on fleabay, maybe those thieves at amazon, or at my dealership if you'd want me to order in. regards, john
