2007 xb12stt- timing table tuning

I have a 2007 xb12stt. I've been datalogging with ecmspy and using megalog viewer VE analyzer. I've got it nicely dialed in, but my timing tables look goofy. Does anybody have any experience with adjusting timing tables? There are some weird peaks and valleys and before I delve in, I'd like to know if there are specific reasons for some of the oddities.

^ this one a guy made his front and rear timing maps the same, but didn't go into much detail.
