Yeah, I've talked to this guy a few times about this bike.

He is extremely unreasonable regarding the pricing. He had up it for months now at $9500. I think he's taken the pricing off of the adds here recently.

Me: Still have the cr? 2:35 PM

Me: Any stator/charging issues yet? 2:36 PM
+18127160137: I had it in the shop to get it serviced about 1500 miles ago and they said it was good. Runs and rides just fine 2:38 PM
Me: What happened to cause the starter to be replaced 2:38 PM
+18127160137: i replaced the starter switch. I may have made a typo in the add. The button felt like it was sticking so I replaced it with a new one. 2:41 PM
Me: Oh ok, how much are you looking to get for it 2:43 PM
+18127160137: Im not in a big hurry to sell so I'm just looking at what kind of offers I get 2:56 PM
Me: Hmm. You've had it on cl for a very long time at around 9500 right? Kbb is around 6000 which is still a bit higher than market value 2:58 PM
+18127160137: if you can find one without problems for that value I would buy it. Thanks 2:59 PM
Me: Hmm. I'm sure yours doesnt have issues but the stator will fry on all 09s. Having super low mileage is certainly enticing though. What are you realistically looking to get out of it 3:02 PM

And then he won't message me back.

His loss, I suppose since I just bought an 08 Husqvarna 610SM instead.

This is a classic response from a bitter Craigslist poster....I have made responses to people the same way in the past.
Tire kickers need to be more up front, right out of the shot. they need to just say whatever there intentions are.

Let it be " the dealer fire sold them for $5000 so I'm not going to pay more then that" or "if you have not replaced the stator it's going to cost me $1500 to replace"

Or my favorite the blue book value is $???? So I want to pay $1500 less

For all you know the poor guy bought the bike 3/10/09 and payed $10,500

I wish tire kickers would unite and stand up to sh-t that really matter, like gas prices or home prices or city spending.

Rant over.

I'd agree with you if he hadn't had the bike posted for 6 months, bumping it every day for the same price range. There's no 1125cr worth 9,500$ right now. I made a no **** cash offer right around the book price to this guy and he dismissed it because he feels that his cr is made of gold apparently.

I like no **** offers...had someone e-mail me via CL offering a low-ball cash offer without even seeing the bike...kind of irritating to me...I guess if you need cash fast then it's cool, but still kind of annoying...
