2009 XB12R hand lever compatibility???

I keep noticing, when shopping for hand levers for my 09 XB12, that every stops at 2008 in their listings. is there a reason that the 2008 levers won't fit my 2009?

Your 09 R has a ZTL2 caliper and the master cylinder is different than the 03-08's, the clutch levers were all the same.

UGH. So that must be why i can not find aftermarket levers for my bike. that's frustrating... thank you for taking the time to asnwer.

I am using this on my http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buell-8-Pis...545459?hash=item41bd48e5b3:g:guwAAOSwPhdU2S7d Long story short I have found that the master cylinder bore is larger but the levers are inter changeable. on all years.
