Mileage issues for CA unless it is a CA bike.

Just picked up a 2009 XB12R or I might be tempted. Showing this to my friend who need to replace his Buell. How would a 6'2" person fit on it? (never sat on one)

I'm 6'1" and would like to know how a tall person would fit on a Lightning scg also? I owned a Uly and was really comfortable but always thought the seat was too high. I'm in Nashville and have been following this thread from the beginning.

The whole SCG thing only really applies to the suspension - the seat to peg room is the same between the standard and scg lightning. Leg room is based strictly on the seat and peg combination. Now, how far your legs are bent when flat footing it is another question. To get more room, get drop pegs and a taller seat. Downside of drop pegs with lowered suspension is less lean angle before contact. But unless you track or carve real hard, how often are you going to put yourself in that situation?

The SCG seat is a good inch lower than the standard S model.

I am 6'1 and ride a Firebolt with CG suspension and a Lightning tail with SCG seat. I have rode 1700 miles on a trip from NM to Laguna Seca, no problems.

I'm 6'1 as well and ride an SL. I use the drop pegs with a Streetfighter seat and have no issues. Just look kinda funny because I make the bike look small.

With the standard S seat and dropped pegs, I could easily see someone 6' enjoying this bike. I am 5'10" find it comfortable in its current config.

Another question, is the 2010, 2009 & 2008 models exactly the same or are there upgrades between these model years?
