Yeah I went to an 07 SS swing arm but i had the kit on the stock 07 swing arm initially. i had to shave out the belt guard brackets to get the chain to clear but I had no problem with the bolts. They are very close to the swing arm but they didn't touch so i didn't have to shave. Looks like shaving yours is the only option.
