Nobody is asking you to stop saying or doing what you feel. All we're asking you to do is to be civil. I don't think that's too much to ask. If I didn't have that sort of filter on my own actions, I wouldn't be in the position I am today (preparing to enter medical school on a partial scholarship, running a successful business, married to a beautiful wife, you get the idea).
i enjoy bikes and helping buellers.i enjoy walking people through dia their bikes over the phone.other parts of my life are stressful and all business where i dont give advice or offer help without payment.this is where i have chosen to give back,relax and entertain myself.

Im not half as active as I was before, but these are my thoughts;
There does seem to be a bit of a line between the Blast riders as everyone else. Im not sure how much to read into this, as there was never any such animosity between the XB guys and the 1125 guys. Blast guys seem a bit on edge and at the very least already with their defenses up in preperation for an attack. The BuellXB guys that have been here before the merger were pretty tight knit, we had a few bad aples and disagreements over the years, but everything seemed pretty smooth. Mergers are never easy, i repeate, NEVER easy. There are always leaders from the two sides that hold the respect of their community, and they must have a hard time getting to know new guys, specially ones that dont even ride their own bike.
Fact is, with the merger, this will prolly not be a Buell XB board with some postings from the 1125 guys and blast guys occasionally as it was. We will see alot more posting from Blast guys, get used to it. Just cause they bought a beginners bike and decided to mod the **** out of it annd stick with it instead of buying a bigger Buell, doesnt make their logic inferior, they are happy where they are that, and we should accept that. On the other hand, because so many of us own XB's and 1125's it doesnt make us better than the Blasters.
Now, my personal opinions;
EZ and Jetlee, you guys are very defensive of your bikes, and any critisism towards them. We are entitled to our opinions, if you dont like them, say so, but dont poke back at the XBer's and then get butt hurt and lock a thread.
Posting pictures of a guy in surgery and implying that his own stupidity got him there was crossing the line IMO

And I thank you for your contributions. You certainly have a wealth of knowledge. I'm not trying to run you out of the forum, just suggesting that your political inclinations might be better suited to an environment where more change can be effected.

Where in the above link does that scar picture say anything about tumor surgery? His wreck thread showed the picture in the bed. I assumed the head scar was from the wreck. Sue me.
I didn't call him a squid, I said it looked as though he had already hit the ground hard. Again, making assumptions from photos. oh9bolt made assumptions from photos in regard to "a 73 year old man", yet I'm the one in the wrong.
I already stated my reason for closing the thread. Believe it or not, I don't care.
