I'm not defensive of my bike, I haven't defended it. The damn tires say "SCOOTER" on them! It's gonna get criticised. I really don't care what your opinion of my bike is, I'm the one riding it, not anyone else.
Again, the thread was going to be locked last night, but seeing as it died down I let it continue to see if it would get back on track. When it didn't, I locked it.
most of the new blast guys are defensive while most of us are very sarcastic we mean nothing by it its just playing.all of us here will help each other when needed.but a new mod isnt going to win any points by posting pics of a member in the hospital and then locking the thread.i have gotten into heated arguments on this forum and a week later spent hours on the phone with the same member.members here dont seem to hold grudges hopefully the new blast guys wont either and dont take us to serious.

1. locking threads is a slippery slope becuase there are just a handful of guys here who have the ability to do so, and for reasons that are completely subjective.
2. a mod who's only here becuase he was forced to be here who locks more threads in 2 months than in the entire year i've been a member is a power trip with a mod title. everyone knows why you're a mod here, becuase you went ape shit when you found out your buddy shut you down, and it was a move in good faith by buellxb. period. not saying you didn't deserve it there, but in my humble opinion, you don't deserve it here.
3. how mods are chosen isn't up to me, don't know how that process works and don't care, but the truth of the matter is when any of the mods post, they for the most part have a lot to contribute and i think most people take heed to what they have to say. But with that, shouldn't come the ability to shut someone else out becuase you don't like what they have to say unless there is a threat of violence or if the integrity of this forum is in jepardy. there are 1000's of threads here that could be locked based on this, but aren't.
4. as far as the XB'ers and 1125 guys being disrespectful to the blast guys, i truly feel like that was a direct result of the entire forum sitting back for a week while A SELECT FEW of the blast guys shit on and 'blasted'(pun intended) this forum becuase it was inferior, didn't have features, it sucked, etc. that shit got old. for some reason, i take a little pride in being part of this forum as i see the value in it with regards to a passion/hobby of mine. and although i never really voiced it out of respect for the situation, i got tired of hearing how shitty this forum was compared to your old forum. you want to lock a thread, lock that thread. lock the thread that creates an environment of people bitching and complaining about a forum that many of us are more than happy with.
5. jetlee, you want to lock threads, lock out the jordan sellers, louis vattan sellers, etc. we'd all be on board with that!
Mods, i appreciate what you do on this forum, but jetlee, you are wrong. bringing a guys tumor scar into a conversation to use it in that manner is disrespectful, regardless of what bike you have. get some skins on the wall here before hitting the lock button, that's all i have to say. and don't effing say sue me becuase you know you're wrong. the stand up thing to do would be to PM oh9bolt and apologize.

I honestly think the blast guys are just overly sensitive about their bikes. To the point that they feel the need to compensate with utterly ridiculous claims. Claims that are laughable and even sad in the case of EZ's recorded ride which basically disproved all his prior claims.
Then when all esle fails, they flame away with Mr. Impartial himself Jetlee leading the way and locking threads.

Anrkism and myself have both disagreed strongly in a thread before we went back n forth for a day prolly. After it went its course without being locked we had never insulted or threatend one another . I respect him alot and out of all buell xb members he has been the most helpfull and the first to welcome me and gave me my first rep. HOW is he not a mod! But that aside if a thread starts to threaten a member or become out of control insulting ok lock it but come on if its still on the front page and getting attention it hasnt run its course . Dont lock it. We are all adults we should be able to act like it without getting all wound up when we receive critisim.
As far as the new members i think its more the loss of there forum than the size of there bikes. Most seem pretty cool and i like to see the new faces.
