They're anodized so depending on how much direct sunlight it was exposed to, some fading is expected over time. Unfortunately, your only real options that I know of would be to have it re-anodized, powder coated or painted. I'd suggest that if you plan to black out any other parts of your bike to have it powder coated with a larger batch of parts. Most powder coaters have minimum fees that may be cost-prohibitive for the cover alone. If you have any further questions, please feel free to PM or email me and we can discuss it further.
