I've had some recent questions on which rear stands are compatible with my sliders. Since it is nearly impossible to fit test every stand on the market, I'm going to open that question to my customers that have my slotted rear sliders on their XB. I can tell you that they were designed and fitted using a Pitbull stand. What brand and model rear stand works well with the 5-0dro axle sliders?

So I'm considering offering alternate colors on a pre-paid, pre-order basis. I would need a minimum of 5 orders of any one color. Orders can be XB Std, XB Slotted, or 1125 sliders. Once I get the 5 orders in any one color, I will have them anodized and fill orders.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing the desired colors would be gold, dark red, and blue.

Here's what you need to do to order:

1. Place an order on my site for a natural set of sliders.

2. In the customer notes section, specify your desired color and your screen name here.

3. Post here that you have done so.

Once I have reached 5 orders of a given color, I will fill the order and let you know. If a long time (I'm thinking 4 weeks or so...we can extend this if you're willing) goes by and I don't get enough orders for a given color I'll give you an option for an alternate color that I stock or a full refund.

Sound fair? Let me know what you think...

*Disclaimer: Colors other than black cannot be hard-coat anodized so they won't be as rugged as the black ones I sell and will likely be less resistant to fading as well. Not that they won't be high quality, just not as good as the black. If anyone tells you otherwise, they're being disingenuous.

I just spoke with my anodizer. The vibrant colors that we all would want will have to be produced in a soft-coat anodize as I suspected but I received good news able their resistance to fading. I'm confident that I can provide a product with similar (excellent) fade resistance to the black products that I currently provide.

I have him looking into color-matches to get "close to" the following colors:

Gold / Amber
Cherry Bomb Red
Hero Blue

Who's interested if I can make this happen?[cool]
