Thank YOU!! [up] Please let me know once you leave your review on our site as I have to manually publish it.

For you 1125 riders, remember we now have the slotted rear axles sliders for you and still have a couple sets of the non-slotted versions that we're clearing out for only $80 while supplies last. Please contact me directly if you're interested.

I was wondering how many of our customers that have our XB Spooled Axle sliders use them with a Pit-Bull stand. Did the stand require any modification for the wide swing-arm? I had a customer inquiry about it and how well they work together.

If not Pit-Bull, then which stands do you use?

Thanks for the help!

I use the trackside cycle gear stands and I had to separate the width a slight bit. By doing this it allowed the stand to fit. No structural integrity was taken from the stand as I can see. My bike sat on it for a month while I've been working. I would recommend it.

squidbuellie - What is considered the 'universal' rear stand from Pit-Bull? I have the F0028-000 - SS Rear Stand (Standard/Spooled) from Pit-Bull, and it's not wide enough. I even removed the little wing-nut like things that allow for tool-less adjustments, and it still wasn't wide enough. Hard to say for sure, but appears it's about .25" - .50" to narrow yet for the spools.Basically you put one side in the spool the other side would be resting on the swingarm.

Any advice would be appreciated. I know I have to be doing something wrong, as I have heard it work fine for others. It shouldn't matter which bike I have, but my bike is a 2010 XB12R.

Thanks,
-Matt

Hold one side of the stand with your foot and pull slightly on the other side to increase tge width. Sounds cave manish, but it works. Sorry for the thread shift Sandro.

No problem at all GAXB9R! This is actually related to using my axle sliders so it's good info for us all! Thanks everyone for chiming in on this! I knew I could count on you! [up]
