Well...I spoke too soon.

I received the parts today and to say the least, I'm not happy with the finish. I wouldn't put these parts on my bike so I wouldn't feel comfortable or expect any of you to put them on yours. Words can't describe how disappointed I am right now about this! I'm going to give them back to be reworked. I'm hoping (and will push) that this will only delay us by a few more days but I'm just not certain right now. As always, I will keep you posted on here.

Good on you, I know if I had another set coming my way and the coating was jack I would be pissed, so I am sure everyone would rather wait a couple extra days to get the quality than rush it and settle for second rate.

You're honest guy and you keep us up the date with what's going on so it's all good. The delays aren't your fault anyways so what can you do about it? World's not perfect and sh!t happens.

I have no problem with the delay. Was/is it an anodizing problem or the finish from machining that's not up too par?

Mainly anodizing but there were a few with surface finish imperfections that can and will be addressed.

Yeah...I heard those emails went out today. That estimate is definitely not going to happen although the tracking numbers will remain the same. All of your boxes are labeled (hence the email) and sitting ready in my garage for the parts to come back to me from the anodizer. I'm optimistic that will happen this week yet but as always I will keep you all posted.

PS - Still have 4 1125 sets that need a home! XB's are spoken for at this time, but I will certainly post them up if there are extras for any reason.

Update: Parts to arrive (to me) Wednesday[mad]

Parts are being stripped of the anodization, touched up, and reanodized. As I said before, they WILL be "right" this time. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
