A great voice is gone

Rocker Ronnie James Dio has passed away at 67. Stomach cancer taken a great voice of metal and rock away.

OMG I saw him with Malmsteen and Doro like 8 years ago. Great show! Rock On Dio!

I couldn't believe it either. My wife text me first thing this morning to let know. We were just talking over the weekend about great rock songs. Of course we talk about Dio and and his voice. We are putting together great rock and metal songs on the Ipod for road trips.

To all who witnessed the Black & Blue tour of 1980 (Black Sabbath & Blue Oyster Cult) its a sad day indeed.
I think I saw over 20 different concerts that year.
I like Ozzy but I liked Ronnie with Sabbath better.

That sucks! I was a big DIO fan back in the day. Saw him in Daytona for the Holy Diver concert years ago. Bummer...........
