A little help??

I'm looking at the new Buell Xb12R, love the black and red! But my question is, coming off a gsx-r750 am I going to be happy with the power? I know power isn't everything but I want to be able to keep up with my buddies without having to kill myself or the bike in the process. If any one can help I would really appreciate it!

i had a zx9r. and i bought a xb9r. i would never go back. this bike is so much more fun it might be a little slower but you dont have to go fast to have fun on it. i would just go for it. i did and i wont look back

You will be left behind if they like to speed on straight roads. Buells are very under powered as far as top speed goes. I miss the speed but this is my favorite bike just to ride and enjoy. Almost every other bike Ive had is way faster but I dont miss them. I ride with my bud who has a TL1000r and can keep ahead of him until we hit any long straights and then he is gone. Id say test ride one before you buy it.

i agree with the rest, test ride one . i had a 750ninja, it was faster top end , but my xb12r is alot more fun to ride. i ride with gsxr1000's and ninjas ,ect. and i keep up with them pretty good until long straight roads my bike tops out at 140 thats plenty fast enough to me . the people i ride with rarly go over that anyway.

Thanks guys I think I'm going to trust my instinct...and you guys...and go for the Buell! Anyone know when the 08's are coming out and if there is going to be anything worth waiting for???

2008 models are released in mid to end of July. There are a few things rumored to be new this year on the models.
