Dave I'd sure like to know where you get your information??? You are throwing out things that you really cannot speculate with accuracy. Do you sit down and talk business with HD and Erik??? Do you know personally people that work there??? I can say I do and several at that. HD is very tight lipped company. You don't know what is instore. You can only hope that something will arise from all this.

BadS1, I do not know anyone at HD personally. Maybe HD is tight lipped, but it's a publicly traded company and all of the transcripts are available to the public. In those transcripts, HD states that HD will discontinue Buell without any chance for Buell to start again.
Also, Erik did comment on HD's decision to not move forward with production of turbo xb's a few years back.
There was only one conclusion a person could come to after taking this info in... and that is, HD is one F'ed up company. You can't blame me for being bitter.

You don't even have to read the transcripts to put two and two together, either. Look at the history of HD, they've had a relatively powerful engine from the start. That's what the brand is built upon. But how many changes have they made throughout the years compared to other companies, not many. Honda has tried every screwball thing in the book with different development and advances through the years. How many Harley guys do you know that still like/ride the old stuff. HD is afraid of change, sure they've come a ways from the flat heads, but not much in retrospect. Buell is all about change! That's why we love them.

HD can say one thing and do the complete 180 on you. They will do what is good for them. As far as the turbo's?? They were messing with them in tuber era as well. Its no secret and never has. Also they have toyed with other things as well but that doesn't mean it will be the final product. How many prototype picture have you seen that look way cool but then the production one comes along and its not quite the same. You cannot say for sure where the future is going and what HD will and will not do. Somple as that.
