got caught in the rain today on the way home. Fast (but powerful, windy) storm. Pulled under an country overpass, Parked, took the gear off, smoked a cigarette. First time in a long time I've been forced to take a break and do nothing. Fresh smell of the air, thunder in the background, sitting on my helmet, totally at peace for the moment. Looking at the bike. It's was Deans bike, the 1125R with his full CUSTOM EXHAUST (bad ass by the way). Good looking bike and totally at peace. My world has been upside down since the wife passed. Anyway, the point is, this why I bought the bike. I think that's why we own a Buell (or as some do, a couple) [cool]

Logix, great post. I can empathize (sort of). When my dad died 4 years ago, the only thing that kept me sane was my 2003 xb9s.

Cheers.

I am sorry for your loss. Hang Tough Brother! Sometimes life just makes you think! Awesome post![up][up][up][up][up]

A Buell is the ultimate therapy, had some troubling times a few years ago and then I got my CR, best times of my life. Even just the ride home from work would make a shitty day turn into a good day.
