Ok so im going to put some leds on my bike and instead of buying a kit im buying everything seperate, my question is how should i wire them. I was thinking soldering and heat shrink the four + wires to a toggle switch then from the switch to an inline fuse holder to the battery. Then just solder all the - wires together and to the negative battery post? Am i on the right track here? Also the led light pods have 4 leds in each so about what size fuse should i use? 15 amp? Thanks in advance

You'll have to give more specific information about the LEDs. If they are stripped down LEDs that you can get from Mouser and other electronic parts stores, you'll have a lot of work to do. If they're 12V LEDs like from superbrightleds.com then your method will be fine. The size of the fuse will likely only need to be 5-10A. 15A is overkill.
Ok so instead of a switch i ordered a remote relay. Its a logisys rm01ic, then i can just mount it under the passenger seat cowl instead of finding a place for a toggle. All this is for a DIY active side lighting since almost all my riding is at night.

Please doe a wrightup, I can't really find any other information on the web on this. Are there different color photoluminescent strips? I don't care for the aqua color. This makes me think of Tron lightcycles.
15amps for LEDs? Hell even 3amp fuse should be enough to cover your entire bike in LEDs.

What you guys are missing is this is a complete built kit with I bet a warranty, as if anything goes wrong.
So the question is, whats your time worth thats spent getting the parts together and getting it all to work?

Well that company doesnt offer a DIY kit. You have to take it to a dealer to install. So $250 for everything then what $100 for harley to install? I like to fool around with this kind of stuff anyway. Plus my bike is in my bedroom put away for the winter. I just think that if i can do this all myself in a sort of trial and error method i can save my self a couple hundred dollars. That can go to axle sliders and a little toward a tuning package from the tuniversity. In the end it's worth it to me.
I would suggest running it up your front brake line and then you can get a stainless or plastic mesh sheathing to cover it all. More then likely you will have to disconnect your brakeline from the caliper. You could also heat shrink it together.

Any progress on this? I was considering doing something similar but with blue phosphorescent paint cause I can't stand the green, and they don't make the tape in blue.
Yeah im waiting for the remote relay to get here. Two problems im running into right now is running the wires up both forks and not looking obvious with zip ties. The other is that im mounting them inside the front fender and the wires will need slack to travel when the forks compress. Im probibly going to use zip ties at first but later maybe using brake cable sheaths to atleast look a little better. It'll all be good by time spring comes around. Ive only seen green tape, and i think that blue or red would be illegal for street use anyway.
