hey just wanted to say hi and introduce me and my new baby(new to me that is)...

First of to say I am glad to enter this somewhat exclusive fraternity of riders...

Next I guess i can tell u a lil about myself, I'm a 22 yr old, floridian male, and I have NEVER been the type to want to be like everyone else or hop on a band wagon, so therefore i have come to hate gsxr's and have felt the need to have something different which brought me to either 2004 triumph speed triple or a 2004 xb12r... (i shouldnt have to tell u who one)
this is my first bike and even tho she's a hell of alot of bike she felt more comfortable than the s3.

enough about me... now her... 2004 xb12r, i bought her with slightly under 10,000 miles for $3,400 :)... came with full race kit and like new pirelli's on the feet :)... love at first sight!! but being the son of a body man i had to make her my own... bought her red, but recently jus painted her matte black, wrapped the header, threw on some 6000k hid's, and amber led's throughout. i'll be posting some pics as soon as I figure out how to lol.

Welcome Bro! I think the XB's are good bikes to start on, the throttle is very forgiving. Good to have another Bueller around.

quick pic taken with the phone, after the matte black paint job and headers wrapped... more coming soon!!

So you're one who doesn't want to fit in on the jap crap bandwagon,.....you're cool already. [up]

Welcome to Buell and to BuellXB. I like what you've done with the bike, it looks damn good.

[cool]

Thanks everyone for the welcome! I feel at home already!! And to answer your Q xtreme... the bike came with the rear foot rest bracket and chain gaurd polished, I'll take a few pictures of the rest of the bike soon so that can be seen better...

JT, I'm loving your Buell decal on the airbox. Did you guys do that as a custom job at the shop or did you find it somewhere? I realize that you are about as new to Buell ownership as I am but have you seen decals online that do not have American Motorcycle under the name?

-Cantrell

thanks cantrell...those are the stock decals that came with red/gold color scheme, i just peeled off the american motorcycles decal which was seperate(came of quite easily btw) and jus taped up the buell decals b4 i painted it.

thanks onelogue..
