Eyup!
We lived at Jct 25 of the M62 at Brighouse. I had trail bikes in the UK and rode mainly around North Yorkshire, mostly off-road. I have to say that there's nowhere on earth that beats North Yorkshire for roads and scenery! That said, in Canada there are no speed cameras (but of course, there's radar). Roads where I live can be arrow straight for miles...very tempting to nail it, but even last Sunday I was tailed for 10 mins by a Police cruiser...you have to be real careful.
I still have riding mates in the UK...you guys have some great roads and Europe is only next door. Size of Canada is gobsmacking...to go to the seaside would take me two days of solid riding! Not like a run to Brid, then!
Ride safe and keep that mint Buell shiney side up!

Hey Yorkshirelad ... I'm a Brit (shandy-drinking southerner though!) living in Vancouver, Canada. Love the look of your bike. I recently got into the world of Buells with my '07 XB12R and I love the damn thing! You don't see many of them in Vancouver and I love the curiosity it creates! I can only imagine the looks you get in England! Enjoy your ride and if you're ever in Hull, give it a big kiss for me! Lived there back in the 80's for a short but fun time!
